Every record has one place it gets entered. Changes move from that system to the other one, and only that way. You decide on day one whether employee records start in Linarc or in QuickBooks. The rest start in Linarc, because the work that creates them happens on the job.
This is not two-way sync. A record moves from the system where it is entered to the other one. It does not come back. Payroll sends calculated wages, not timesheet hours or rates.
Once records are mapped, they move on their own. A vendor, a cost code or a project set up in Linarc shows up in QuickBooks without a second entry from anyone in the office.
Pick records across categories, stage them, look them over, and push them to QuickBooks in one step. Useful at month end, on a new project, or after a cleanup. Sync status for the whole company shows in one view.
Invoices created in Linarc go to QuickBooks. When your bookkeeper marks one Paid in QuickBooks, Linarc shows it as Paid. Nobody opens the ledger to tell the PM what cleared.
On QuickBooks Online, a new employee added in whichever system you chose for employees appears in the other within moments. Employees coming in from QuickBooks land in a drafts list in Linarc, so you choose who gets a Linarc login and when.
Pair it with Linarc once through the QuickBooks Web Connector, using the one-time authorization key from Linarc. The authorization saves on the machine that runs QuickBooks, so there are no repeated sign-ins.
Without the connection, the same record gets typed in Linarc and then again in QuickBooks. With it, your team stops:
No. Each record type moves one way, from the system where it is entered to the other. Vendors, cost codes, projects, budgets, costs, invoices and payroll are entered in Linarc. Employees can start on either side. The one thing that reads back is invoice paid status. Vendors and cost codes already in QuickBooks are not imported into Linarc.
QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop, both live today. A company connects one accounting system to Linarc at a time.
Yes. Invoices created in Linarc go to QuickBooks. When QuickBooks marks an invoice Paid, Linarc shows Paid. Invoices cannot be created or edited in QuickBooks and pushed into Linarc.
Employee records on QuickBooks Online move within moments of being added. On QuickBooks Desktop, employees move on the automatic sync or a staged push. Every other record syncs automatically or by a manual staged push, depending on its Auto-Create and Auto-Update settings.
Paying bills, collecting payments and closing the books stay in QuickBooks. Invoices get built in Linarc and land in QuickBooks ready to collect. What goes away is retyping records that already exist in Linarc. Running Sage Intacct or Acumatica instead? Linarc connects to those too.
Bring your controller to the demo. We will walk through what syncs, which way, and what stays in QuickBooks.
